Caltrans On-Call Services, District 07 Contract 07A1788
As part of this major On-Call Construction Services contract we provided field inspectors for varied inspection and material testing assignments at the Encino, Valencia, Lancaster, Downey and Material Laboratory. As part of the contractual requirements we were responsible for providing accurate invoices that included supporting documents consisting of statements of compliance, weekly certified payroll summaries and fringe benefit statements to ensure compliance with the prevailing wage requirements.

Athalye Consulting Engineers served to monitor roadway traffic closures and fender repair in marine environment. Our inspector served in a dual role for roadway and bridge work. The fender repairs consisted of emergency night work where existing damaged piles were replaced with new piles. ACE had also provided office engineering support on another sound wall project in district 07.

Provided comprehensive construction management for two bridges for the County of San Luis Obispo. The services encompassed pre-construction phase in the set up of the project, construction management and the post-construction phase to resolve claims resolution and the preparation of the as-built plans.

Vincent Thomas Bridge
The toll bridge is composed of main suspension spans that are 2513 ft long and approach spans of 1841 ft and 1705 ft. Our team provided the lead assistant bridge representative and inspection personnel to monitor the project.
